I am so missing the powder days and I’m bummed that I didn’t really get any June powder skiing this year. Here’s a little powder skiing video stoke from the North Couloir (AKA, Peaches Couloir) on Wimpys…one of my favorite places to ski powder in the park. The skiing on this day was great and I remember loving the faceshots…even with the Megawatts. The light was a little flat on the apron, so that’s why I made so many turns towards the bottom.

I miss skiing too. Summer just kicked in so people think I am insane. Seems like so long ago….Steve, how do you like the Mega’s? I was thinking about getting some. Thanks for the site…don’t let the haters get you down!
I love the Megawatts..believe all the hype. I might get some Justices next year…just because…but the Megawatts won’t be left out.
Will you stick to the Verdicts for ski mountaineering Steve?
I’d really like to go for a rocker ski, probably from BD, so guess the call will have to be made between Justice 175 and Zealot 182. Only Euro pow here, not quite as bottomless as yours i hear. Any opinion?

I think so Rob. The Verdict is a good mix of girth and weight. I will use some skinnier skis as well…but only when I know it will be firm.
I think the Zealot will handle more aggressive skiing and firm snow better than the Justice…since they are stiffer…but they are also heavier. If it’s in and out of bounds…I’d do the Zealot. If it’s all BC skiing…I’d do the Justice.
