Just a reminder that “Truth in Motion: The US Ski Team’s Road to Vancouver” premieres on Saturday, January 30th at 8/7c on NBC.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of this film a couple days ago (I’ve watched it twice since then) and I gotta tell you…it is VERY good. The video footage of the racers raging past gates and railing it at 100mph is totally rad. The story line is perfect and pits the racers against each other to make the Olympic team…you can honestly feel the tension. The women aren’t left out either, and I loved the part towards the end when they show Susan Schleper screaming before a few race starts. Gets you fired up for sure…don’t miss it!!!
Here’s some pre-show teasers. None of this footage is really in the documentary, so don’t worry…it won’t ruin the premier for you.
