Even though I have no idea where Pebble Creek Ski Area is in Idaho, I have some friends that have attended this rando race in the past, and they say it was a fun time. And considering this is the last race before the Ski Mountaineering World Championships in Andora this year, I bet a few the fast guys will be looking to grease the pipes and will attend. This year’s race starts at 8am on Saturday, February 28th. The course will have about 3000′ of climbing, with two uphill sections and includes one bootpack. Any questions, please contact the ISU Outdoor Adventure Center at 208-282-3912. If you have time and are looking for some good cardio this weekend…check it out!

Pebble Creek is just outside of Pocatello. It has some great terrain. Good steep pitch top to bottom. The backcountry off the backside is really good. If you get some extra time take a day to ski the backcountry. They used to do single ride tickets.
