That’s not really the kind of stuff they teach in ski lessons, is it Steve? Great footage! Thanks for posting it.

That Dude changes his skis more often than you do Steve.

Sick! Was that drop at Alta 0 at 2:45? Fun line for sure.

Is that the Andrew Whiteford of Stowe Vermont fame? If so, way to represent the East!

jon…i don’t think that is alta zero.

I dont think 2:45 is Alta 0 but he def. skis some Alta’s in there. And my fav. tower three trees. Def. mad skills with the camera.

Kinda makes me want to get a pair of prophet 130’s mounted with dynafit. surprisingly light for how wide they are…

Steve, thanks for posting this! I’m glad you liked it. Village skiing styles vary quite a bit from that of tech descents in the Park, but its great for skiers to appreciate all types… so thank you!

I went to UVM and still think about skiing around in the woods of VT almost every day.
The drop at 2:45 is in Casper, the only shot from the Alta Chutes area is immediately prior to the drop in question.
The 130s are quite a bit lighter than I expected, they’d probably be comparable to the Megawatts (just a little more traditional shape than BDs) for some pow touring.

The camera I’m using is the GoPro Hero HD helmet cam, mounted on my helmet. The viewable area is pretty wide, so the angle is pretty easy to set. The files that it puts out are pretty big, it ended up forcing me to upgrade my home computer
…and I bet Steve has a couple dozen more skis than me!
    Cheers & Think Snow
