I’m pretty sure throwing a stick at a Yellowtone bison is not the recommended way to get it’s attention for that award winning photograph. Needless to say, this women got more than she bargained for last week, and more than a friendly game of fetch.

There’s a reason they’re called WILD animals people!
Once again proving that the world is full of stupid people, and they seem to be breeding faster than the rest of us.
Just wanted to set the record straight on this. KSL did some further analysis on the video, specifically the portion where the animal is seen walking across the parking lot, and it is clear that the stick is already on top of the bison’s head. Then when he is standing behind the small trees, he sort of flicks his head and the stick falls onto his back, causing him to become a bit agitated. No one threw a stick at the animal.
But nonetheless, they are certainly too close for comfort under any circumstances.
It does look like someone threw a stick at it. But they don’t mention that in the story.
Some People will never learn.
