The second qualifying race for the 2011 US Ski Mountaineering National Team happened today with the Grand Targhee Ski Mountaineering Classic. The race was a bit tamer than the US Championship event held just yesterday (click here for those results) and the sun even popped out to warm up the competitors a bit. One again, the Canadian, Thoni Reiner took the win, but the women swapped first and second place, evening out the score.
