I figured now is as good a time as any to look back on this past season. It was filled with an absurd number of powder days, rando races here at home and overseas, as well as a few new descents that I was finally able to cross off the tick list (Gannett Peak, SE Couloir/Buck Mountain, Nugget Line/Cloudveil Dome). It’s been a few years since I’ve skied into July, but skiing Buck Mountain on Independence Day was a good thing to wrap the season up with and I’ve actually skied the East Face in worse conditions back in the day.

I feel like I didn’t have as many good images to choose from as last year’s slideshow. Mainly because I spent a lot of time getting footage for the videos I focused on over the past few months. I’m hoping this embedded Vimeo video works well enough for everyone to watch it. I’ve had some trouble with slow streaming speeds and Vimeo in the past, but since this file is relatively small in size, I figured I’d give it another try. If you’re having trouble, please let me know. Here is a link to the same slideshow on YouTube.

Thanks to all those that have visited TetonAT.com this past season. Without you, this dream I have could never get off the ground. Also, thanks to all those that support me and TetonAt.com, as well as those that may become partners in the future. You all have truly become family to me and I hope to continue our friendships for many years to come. I came really close to going with a non-Pearl Jam (or at least non-Eddie Vedder) soundtrack for this one, but I figured it can wait until next season. Sorry Gringo! All songs from the “Into the Wild” soundtrack.
