I wouldn’t consider myself an expert on skiing the Grand Teton, but I have skied it a few times in both powder and spring-snow conditions, and feel I have a good idea of what to expect up there. Recently, I’ve gotten some trip reports from others who have had successful descents on the mountain in the past couple weeks and have indicated how surprisingly filled-in some of the sections were…especially the Chevy Couloir.

Here is a little video from Mark Staples and John Yarington, from Bozeman, MT, from their successful descent a couple weekends ago. After watching the video, I can honestly say that I have never seen the Chevy filled-in so much…but judge for yourself, cuz I’m no expert.
