Fun times so far at the Kootenay Cold Smoke Festival in Nelson, BC. I don’t think it has snowed up here in about three weeks, but we were still able to find some soft snow in the side-country of Whitewater Ski Resort. Nighttime has been filled with great food, beer and the company of many skiers from around the country, and others who work in the backcountry skiing industry.
