Bigger and Banana flavored Nuun hydration tablets!

I don’t know about you, but whether its summer or winter, I have the hardest time drinking water and staying hydrated. I even have trouble drinking enough when I’m not skiing or running. I’m not sure why, but I just forget to drink a lot of the time.

When I do drink while being active, I religiously use and rely on Nuun tablets to aid in my electrolyte replacement and recovery. If you haven’t tried it I suggest you do, because Nuun tablets are very handy, travel well, are easy to use and mix with water easily. I love the fact that there isn’t any sugar in Nuun, so it doesn’t muck up my hydration bladder like many drinks will do, especially those that contain carbohydrates. Nuun is all above electrolytes and contains zero carbs, allowing you to drink water without the fear of an upset stomach.

No sugar and larger size tablets make BIGGER Nuun great for hydration bladders.

One thing is for sure is that when you use a 100oz bladder, and fill it, you can go through tablets in a jiffy. With regular Nuun, you’re supposed to use one table with 16oz of water…so that would mean 6 tablets per fill up. Now, obviously I don’t use that many for 100oz, but I do use at least three most of the time. And with 12 tablets per tube, it’s easy to see how you can use the stuff up quickly. Thanks to Nuun, they now have made their dissolving effervescent tablets available in bigger sizes, where one tablet mixes with 32oz…making dosing up your water a cinch and the need to restock your supply…much less frequent.

A quarter, regular Nuun and bigger Nuun.

Another new addition to the Nuun family is a new flavor…BANANA! Pretty wild flavor to have in a drink mix, but I’m finding quite tasty. Like all of Nuun’s fbanana-nuunlavors, it is pretty mellow, and the lack of sugar in it keeps it light and very drinkable. Nuun’s website says the new flavor’s “mouthfeel is full and balanced”. I’m not sure what “mouthfeel” is, but Nuun really has made their mixes very easy to consume and you never get that sticky feeling in your mouth like you can get with other products.

If you haven’t tried Nuun tablets…you should. But I promise you, you will never find yourself spooning or swallowing half mixed powder mixes again.
