I’m traveling back east for the Turkey Day today and got up wicked early to get some turns in before my flight. The forecast was for around 7″ of snow in the mountain, but it looks like the flow went north and we were only left with a dusting…or maybe and inch or two. Considering the fact that it has been raining on Teton Pass recently and everyone and their brother was up there this weekend…I’m going running instead of skiing the dust on refrozen coral reef crust. Bummer!

Tuesday, November 20th, Jackson Hole High School, 7:30 pm.

If you're not traveling for the holiday and are in town tonight (Tuesday), former US Disabled Ski Team member Marc Romero will be screening his film "Heroes of the Slopes". This one hour documentary features top disabled skiers from throughout the country, including Jackson's own Kira Brazinski, who I remember loading on the village chairlifts back in the day. I'm sure it will be a very inspirational film. Tickets are $10 at the door and proceeds will benefit Teton Adaptive Sports.
