I’m not sure if I’ve met either of these two climbers, but they sure do look familiar. Our prayers go out to their families and friends during this challenging time. We also wish the best of luck for the search efforts to find Micah Dash, who is still missing.
Here's a video segment from the movie "The Sharp End", of some of Jonny and Micah's experiences climbing in the Himalayas, the Petit Dru and around the world, among other nutty events that are bound to happen when you live a life of adventure like they did. I love the answer that Micah gives to the question, "Why they do...what they do". Like a lot of things in life...there is no answer...only experiences and dreams. Please donate here to help in the continued search efforts.

I knew Micah. I went to high school and graduated in the same class with him. I am heartbroken for his family. Where we’re from in Lancaster, CA there is no 6 degrees of separation. More than likely ur parents know my parents or u know my brother/sister. u do anything wrong, ur parents usually know what u did wrong b4 u get home. For his family and friends I am heartbroken and sad. I hadn’t seen or spoken to him for a few years but after high school I did stay in Lancaster for a couple years and saw him around town. I wish I would have kept in touch with him when I moved away. I’m so sad….
Thanks for the post Steve.
RIP to these inspirational men.
