I’m off for another skiing adventure in the Wind River Range. I’ve never been to this area before and I’m anxious to see what kind of fun skiing terrain it may hold. The main objective is to ski the north side of the 13K’ peak located in the lower center of the map below, the second objective is to explore the cirque in the upper center of the map. Like many Wind River trips this time of year, this one will be won or lost on the grueling approach to camp. I’m praying things go well.

This a four day adventure and I will be back in Jackson at the end of the week, before doing a quick change over prior to road trip to the Sierras. This will be my third trip to the eastside and it is in conjunction with the fishing opener, which is when a lot of the roads start opening up. I’m hoping to get some fun skiing in, as well as catch up with friends. Anyway, hope you have a good week…ciao for now!!!
