Well, we’ve finally caught up to Utah with the avalanche danger, and our local forecasters are stating that “large destructive avalanches are certain”.  So today…Christmas, is a great day to start slow opening presents, drinking Cafe Rando’s and skiing at Snow King.  Really, I can’t really complain too much about the elevated avy danger because we are at least getting some snow and hopefully it will all settle out soon enough and become more stable…but only time will tell.

I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry and SAFE Christmas this year.  I have a feeling the safe part will be the hardest to control….but let’s try to be smart out there.  Enjoy the new snow!
